A Luxury Riad Experience In Fez – La Maison Bleue
My experience in Morocco exceeded expectations. Sure, you see pictures of the gorgeous Moroccan architecture and tiles riads all over Instagram, but it’s a whole other level being there in person. I got to stay at La Maison Bleue while in Fez, and it’s one of the most stunning hotels I have ever been to. From the decor, to the food, to the service, this riad made my time in Fez feel extra special.
When we first arrived to La Maison Bleue, I immediately knew it would become one of my favorite hotel experiences ever. As soon as you enter La Maison Bleue you experience the luxurious and traditional Moroccan decor that makes staying at riads so special. La Maison Bleue has a gorgeous pool area, several patios with amazing views, a gorgeous restaurant and breakfast area, and equally stunning suites.
I got to stay at one of their most impressive suites, which had its own terrace with pool view. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It also had a super comfortable bed, living area, big bathroom (with a tub!), terrace, and robes. Yes, you guys already know robes are an important amenity for me. Enjoying long baths and #RobeLife is what I typically appreciate most about staying at luxury hotels and resorts. Obviously, the #robelife was real at Maison Bleue.

Breakfast is an equally important part of a luxury hotel experience, and this one did not disappoint. There is a small buffet breakfast served every morning which includes traditional Moroccan items like Moroccan pancakes, honey, and mint tea, of course. I must have drank about a gallon of green tea while here and don’t regret it! I loved it so much that I bought my own teapot and cups to drink Moroccan mint tea at home 🙂
Overall I had an amazing time at La Maison Bleue Fez. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, the location is centric, the food and views are terrific, and the riad is just stunning! Definitely recommend and want to come back here in the future!
