The Lisboans Are The Best Vacation Apartments In Lisbon

My stay in Lisbon involved a bunch of different adventures, as well as staying at a bunch of different types of places. It started with a luxury 5* hotel which was followed by staying at the best vacation apartments I’ve ever experienced – The Lisboans.

The Lisboans are tourist apartments located in, what I consider, the best area in Lisbon. They are in an area called Alfama which boasts the coolest cafes, restaurants, and attractions in the city. It is the oldest district in Lisbon and also the coolest. The Lisboans is located in the heart of Alfama which means you step outside and have everything your heart desires. Cool coffee shop? Check. Traditional Portuguese food? Check. Vegan cafe? Check. Vintage trolleys? Check. Castle?! Check! EVERYTHING is close by.

The apartments themselves are what interior decor dreams are made of. The moment I checked into my 2 bedroom apartment I felt at home. It was decorated to perfection, felt cozy and modern, and was light-filled and airy. It was as if they had decorated it just for me. I wanted to move in!

I spent two nights at The Lisboans and it was not enough. I wanted to stay much longer, so much that I even asked if I could extend my stay. Unfortunately, they were booked for the rest of my time in Lisbon so be sure to book your apartment quickly! They are popular!

During my stay I basically became a hermit. I went out and explored Alfama a bit each day, but looked forward to coming back to my apartment. I had already been traveling non-stop for about 2 months at this point so having a place that felt like home was a nice change. I spent my time here catching up on some blog work, relaxing, cooking, and dancing around the apartment while drinking rosé. It was perfect!

The Lisboans is a perfect accommodation option in Lisbon if you’d rather find a home in the city rather than be catered to at a hotel. It is ideal for the more independent traveler, someone looking for a more authentic Lisboan experience, and for families. Once you check in you’re left at peace, but you can, of course, still request help if you need it. The only extra service they’ll provide you with are some nice breakfast treats in the morning – fresh orange juice and bread delivered to your door.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay at The Lisboans. The time I spent here will always be special and it’s somewhere I will DEFINITELY be coming back to the next time I am in Lisbon.
