Mallorca is one of those islands that you never want to leave. From its idyllic calas to its charming towns and friendly locals, there’s always something captivating you. While a road trip through the island allows you to explore the charming towns, my favorite way of touring Mallorca is by boat. Each time I visit the island, boat trips happen. It’s a way of life here. The only way to make this experience better is by turning it into a wellness sailing retreat, which is exactly what In Adventures is doing.

In Adventures offers an all-inclusive wellness sailing retreat for conscious travelers and digital nomads. Each day of your long weekend you’ll wake up on a different corner of the island to a magical sunrise surrounded by turquoise waters. You will start your days with a morning yoga session, followed by a delicious healthy breakfast prepared by the in-boat chef. After that the adventures begin. Each day is filled with a mixture of sailing relaxation, along with island exploration. Apart from yoga and sailing lessons, you will also partake in activities like abseiling, cave diving, paddle boarding, and hiking to castles. I joined 14 other travel bloggers from around the world on this wellness sailing retreat around Mallorca, and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Day 1

Our first day started by meeting up at the port of Palma to board our home for the next 4 days. Each of us got assigned a cabin buddy and the group split up into two gorgeous sailboats. After boarding, we celebrated with some cold drinks and set sail to our first adventure – sunset paddle boarding and kayaking at Es Trenc.

The ride to Es Trenc took about 2 hours in which we all got to know each other, took photos, and sunbathed on the deck. Just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better we arrived at Es Trenc during golden hour. We transferred to shore and hopped onto our boards for a tour of the bay. I chose to do standup paddle boarding since it’s one of the few sports I’m decent at.

I fell in love with paddle boarding when I tried it for the first time in Bali 2 years prior, and have been obsessed since. It felt really nice to be able to do it again and with such an idyllic setting. Funny enough, I got a little carried away and fell head-first in the water. It ended up being awesome though – the water felt amazing!

After sunset we headed back to our boats for a nice dinner and wine tasting. We tried several natural wines from Spain paired with some deliciously healthy food. It was a perfect ending to a perfect first day of our wellness sailing retreat.

Day 2

For our second day we all woke up bright and early for some morning yoga on the boat. Dav, our resident yoga teacher, led the class while we all struggled to keep our balance on the rocking sail boats. It was a fun and slightly challenging class, but luckily nobody fell overboard. After getting our yoga glow, we gathered on one of the boats for an amazing healthy breakfast – parfaits, organic fruits, freshly squeezed orange juice, avocado toast, and lots of tea. Eating this delicious food, with my wonderful new friends, on a beautiful sail boat in the middle of the most turquoise water was breakfast perfection.

After breakfast we all took photos of the surroundings striking our best instagram poses, and finished off with a much deserved swim in crystal clear waters. Being in that water made me feel so appreciative of life. I never want to leave this place.

After swimming for a few hours we set sail again to Cabrera National Park – a gorgeous collection of small islands. When we got there we anchored up and had a delicious Spanish lunch. Think paella, gazpacho, and Spanish wine…in the middle of the sea. Everything was fantastic! The amazing chefs from In Adventures exceeded expectations every single day. All of the food is incredible!

After lunch we hiked up the castle for some more photos. It was a great experience and the views are absolutely stunning. Once everyone was done with their photoshoots we headed back on board, but not before sneaking in a swim in the gorgeous blue water. You just can’t keep me out of the water!

Day 3

For our third day the whole crew woke up bright and early for our daily yoga session – this time on one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. We were all giddy from yoga, and took some time for photos and a swim after class. We then had a fabulous breakfast before setting off to the next location on the sailing retreat.

Why Mallorca Is The Perfect Destination For Digital Nomads

This day consisted of a balance between sunbathing and relaxation on board, and ending with a gorgeous hike, abseiling, cliff jumping, and cave exploration at Cala Varques. It is an insanely fun experience although I freaked out and couldn’t do the cliff jumping. I ended up having to ant climb my way down the cliff (which is another cool, yet nerve wrecking experience). The cave exploration blew my mind and it’s a must do in Mallorca! I’m thankful that this was part of the In Adventures sailing retreat as I don’t think I would have done it on my own.

After our treacherous excursion we all gathered on our boats for one last dinner together, enjoying the most delicious meal yet in great company. It was an unforgettable night with the most amazing people.

Day 4

On our final day we woke up once again for morning yoga, this time on a pier, had our usual healthy breakfast, and said our heartfelt goodbyes as we parted ways. This sailing retreat with In Adventures is one I will never forget and I am so thankful to have experienced it. Sailing around the island is by far the best way to experience Mallorca.

In Adventures has done an amazing job putting together a fun-filled yet relaxing sailing retreat with an amazing team of cooks and sailors, 5 star healthy cuisine, and overall great vibes. The owner, Pau, really cares about the wellbeing of his guests and you can see the passion he has for sailing. It’s him and his wonderful staff as well as the people he attracts that make this retreat even more special.

I can’t recommend this experience highly enough! It’s been my favorite trip by far. Thank you In Adventures for the wonderful memories, adventures, and friendships I will cherish forever.
